In chapter 11, the book discussed the importance of sticking to your own identity when writing. I believe it is important to know who you are and what your personal values are as a person. However, not most of us truly know our own identity, and tend to struggle with finding it. In this class, it is important to know our own identity and really develop it through our writing, because in project 1, we are telling the story of an experience we have had, or a journey we have overcome.
