In class, I showed a portion of the youtube video, "The Machine" by Bert Kreischer. This video is a comedy bit in which Kreishcer tells the story of when he went to Russia on a school trip, and ended up becoming part of the Russian mafia. I chose this video because I thought it was a very funny story and something that would only happen at Florida State University. In addition, this video is a non-traditional comedy bit because Kreishcer is telling a story in his comedy bit, rather than the traditional comedian who writes their own material based off of stereotypes and day to day things. The tone of this video is very light hearted and humorous, and the intended goal of this video is to make people laugh.
